Jacques and Laurent Pourcel, the twin brothers of the garden of the Senses in Montpellier are currently the youngest chiefs having 3 stars. Son of wine-growers, the duet turned toward the kitchen. Jacques has been trained by Michel Trama, Marc Meneau, and Pierre Gagnaire, and Laurent by Michel Bras, and Alain Chapel before opening in 1987 their restaurant in Montpellier, and get 18 months after their first star to Guide Michelin, then in 1992 the second and in 1998, to 33 years, the third star. Since then the Pourcel opened many restaurants through the world.
